Bratislava is still a little-known destination, and it can surprise even travellers who feel they already know the region well. About an hour from Vienna, it can round out a programme in Austria or stand on its own for a short stay.
Compact, lively and full of energy, the city suits young, energetic groups particularly well. Its historic centre is easily covered on foot, while its restaurants, bars and the banks of the Danube offer plenty of ways to keep an evening going.
Budgets generally go further here than in Prague or Vienna, while the standard of service remains suited to international groups.
Slovakia is also the home country of the founder of MK Events & DMC, making it a destination especially close to our hearts.
